Thomas Hughes, after attaining an MBA, had a corporate career that saw him rise to the level of Chief Financial Officer for a mid-sized manufacturer. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he owned a successful franchise employment service. Based on that success, he was recruited to lead to eastern regional office of a national human resources consulting firm, which performed executive recruiting and corporate outplacement. For nearly a decade under Tom’s direction, that office was consistently one of the most successful in the company. In early 2001, his entrepreneurial spirit propelled him to launch Gordon-Hughes & Associates.

Neal Gordon’s background has been a combination of both executive search and corporate staffing. Beginning his career with a local employment firm, he then moved to an international consulting firm where he performed in a number of different roles including international recruiting, staffing program design and corporate training. During his corporate tenure, Neal became certified in a variety Interviewing Methodologies and Advanced Internet Recruiting technologies. Before forming Gordon-Hughes & Associates, Neal worked with Tom in the outplacement and executive search firm. 

Together, they are proud of the reputation they have earned as one of the most trusted firms in the SBA Lending industry. Realizing that the downturn in the market has severely affected workers, they feel need to apply their abilities toward to their SBA colleagues.
